Join us in celebrating Mental Health Awareness Month by volunteering your time to a local charity! It is our goal that you, our ambassadors, can reach 375 hours of volunteerism this May. One of the greatest aspects of volunteerism is that there are so many different ways to do it, and sometimes, we volunteer without even making conscious recognition of it — for example, helping out at church or coaching your child in football. Sometimes we can only fit in one day or one hour and we read to children at a local hospital or help out a local soup kitchen. These acts all deserve to be applauded. Help us celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month by volunteering and help us get to 375 hours!
Here’s how to participate:
Step 1: Pick a shelter, church, school organization, etc. and get to work!
Step 2: Snap a photo of you volunteering your time
